Current Role and Political Journey

Manoj Kumar Jain is a nominated councilor of Delhi and a prominent leader of the Delhi BJP. Known for his selfless dedication to public welfare, he is also the founder and national president of Sahyog Delhi, and serves as the President of Tarun Mitra Parishad. Deeply inspired by the leadership and vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Manoj Kumar Jain has dedicated his life to public service following the path of nationalism and selflessness.

Early Life and Inspiration

Born on February 23, 1969, in Delhi, Manoj Kumar Jain exhibited a natural inclination towards politics and public service from a young age. As a child, he would skip school to campaign enthusiastically for his favorite leaders, sitting in rickshaws and raising slogans at political rallies. This early exposure to politics was largely influenced by his father, Shri Mahesh Jain, an active member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Following in his father’s footsteps, Manoj Jain imbibed a strong sense of nationalism and responsibility toward society.

Political Milestones

Manoj Jain’s political journey began with his candidature as the youngest BJP candidate in the 2003 Delhi Assembly elections from the Minto Road constituency. Despite not securing a win, this experience shaped his resolve to serve society. Disillusioned with the pursuit of political power, Manoj Jain redirected his focus toward social service, a cause close to his heart since childhood.

Founding of Sahyog Delhi

In 2013, Manoj Kumar Jain founded Sahyog Delhi, an NGO committed to uplifting the underprivileged through initiatives in food distribution, healthcare, and education. Over the years, Sahyog Delhi has become a beacon of hope for thousands, helping to feed the hungry, support disaster victims, and provide relief during pandemics.

One of the organization’s landmark achievements was the establishment of a Modi Tea Stall on Ashoka Road to celebrate Prime Minister Modi’s first electoral victory, where over 30,000 people came together to mark the occasion.

Leadership at Tarun Mitra Parishad

Prior to establishing Sahyog Delhi, Manoj Jain held key leadership roles in Tarun Mitra Parishad, an organization founded in 1975 by his father to support the marginalized sections of society. Serving as the President for three terms, Manoj Jain has played a pivotal role in providing basic facilities to the underprivileged. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of the organization and remains actively involved in its initiatives.

Disaster Relief and Humanitarian Efforts

Manoj Jain has consistently demonstrated his commitment to humanitarian causes. During the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, he collaborated with several organizations to construct homes for victims, raising funds from Delhi to complete this large-scale project.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he spearheaded relief efforts by distributing food, ration, and essential supplies to over 1200 affected families daily. Additionally, under his guidance, Sahyog Delhi distributed over 6500 doses of Arsenic Album 30 to support immunity building during the crisis.

Environmental Advocacy

Manoj Kumar Jain has also made significant contributions to environmental conservation. His efforts to clean the Yamuna backwater from Raj Ghat to Vijay Ghat stand as a testament to his commitment to creating a cleaner Delhi. These initiatives highlight his belief in long-term, sustainable solutions for the city’s pressing environmental issues.
