BIOGRAPHY

Manoj Kumar Jain is currently a nominated councilor of Delhi and a well-known leader of Delhi BJP. Apart from being a leader, you are also known as a great social worker. Along with this, you are also the founder and national president of Sahyog Delhi. Apart from this, you are also fulfilling the responsibility of the President of Tarun Mitra Parishad. You have been greatly influenced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and are following the path of selfless public service shown by him.

Manoj ji, born on February 23, 1969 in Delhi, used to leave his school classes at a young age, sit in a rickshaw at political rallies and ask for votes for his favorite leaders in a loud voice. Even today, a feeling of victory is visible on his face while talking about campaigning and putting up posters. An important reason behind the political affiliation being so strong was that your father Shri Mahesh Jain ji was associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since his youth. Following the footsteps of his father, nationalist thinking automatically started awakening in Manoj ji too.

Along with studies, he progressed in politics and in the 2003 Delhi Assembly elections, he contested as the youngest candidate of BJP. He started his electoral politics from Mintorod assembly constituency but unfortunately could not win, but the lessons of social responsibility taught by his father in his childhood kept pulling Manoj ji in some other direction. Due to not being associated with any post in the party for many years, he started seeing his path clearly for social work. Political ambitions were left behind and he set out on a different path to fulfill his social responsibilities.

Moving forward on the mission of human service and cooperation, in 2013 you established an NGO named ‘Sahayog Delhi’. In the last seven years, his organization has done the noble work of feeding thousands of hungry people and helping the needy. Before establishing his NGO, Manoj was also the President of ‘Tarun Mitra Parishad’. His father had also been the president of this organization established in 1975. Then Manoj ji kept getting the opportunity to work there as a member. Manoj ji, who has been the president of this organization thrice, these days looks after its work as its vice president.

The objective of Tarun Mitra Parishad is to provide the basic facilities of life to the downtrodden and backward deprived sections of the society. He is also the chief coordinator of Shraddha Sadan built in Hastinapur, Uttar Pradesh. This 60-room center equipped with modern facilities was built for the elderly, but due to lack of approval, it is now being used as a yoga and meditation center for training the youth.

Recalling the journey of about seven years of Sahyog, he feels proud that today it is galloping towards the purpose for which it was established. The Modi Tea stall that was set up on Ashok Road on the occasion of Modi ji’s first historic victory, in which about 30,000 people drank tea, was the result of Manoj ji’s efforts.

Be it a natural disaster or an epidemic, he started reaching out to the needy at a very early age in his life. As soon as Gujarat earthquake is mentioned, Manoj reminds how he went to Gujarat with the help of friends and did many works. Bought land in Ekta Nagar, Rapar and laid the foundation of a 26 yard single storey house for the victims of the earthquake that occurred on January 26 and gave the earthquake affected people a chance to hide their heads. He got the entire funds for this project worth crores of rupees from Delhi itself. And four organizations helped him greatly in this.

When an epidemic like Corona forced people to migrate, Manoj ji did not delay in distributing ration, food and relief material on behalf of his cooperation organization and never took credit for it. For this purpose, he neither got his photo published in any social media post nor in any TV or newspaper news. His organization started distributing food among 400 people affected by Corona and through this, he continued to do the noble work of satisfying the hunger of about 1200 people. In this work, ‘Sahayog Delhi’ also got great help from the people of Bikaner, due to which their dream could come true.

Later, on the request of Delhi Central DCP, 2000 vials were also delivered to his office which were distributed among the police force of Central District.

Manoj ji, who has been continuously fighting for the needs of every section of the society, has long played a big role in clearing the Yamuna backwater from Raj Ghat to Vijay Ghat. Due to the inspiration he received from his family elders for social work, he remained continuously associated with many small and big works. Rahgir’s historic event also tells the story of his social concern in which around 25,000 people participated.

He is always wholeheartedly engaged in activities like protesting against the problem of sealing, arranging marriages of young men and women, facilitating scholarships for students, organizing sports competitions. When the route to the metro station near Delhi Gate was given towards Ambedkar Stadium, he also raised his voice regarding this. The result of this is that in the new phase, a provision has been made to open the route to the metro station at the other end.

Manoj ji made many efforts to arrange urinals for women in the local markets and how to make it successful, but due to the lack of proper understanding of the concerned officials, offices and institutions, no better result was achieved despite his efforts. Could get out. Social work on a continuous and large scale may seem a challenge for many but Manoj ji remains enthusiastic in such works because he gets energy from such works which keeps him young.

Talking about his dreams for the future, he says that if the coming generations know me as a social servant and worker, then I will consider it as my biggest success. This servant dedicated to the society will get many more opportunities and he is determined that he will not make any mistake in completing those tasks also.
