The objective of Tarun Mitra Parishad is to provide the basic facilities of life to the downtrodden and backward deprived sections of the society. He is also the chief coordinator of Shraddha Sadan built in Hastinapur, Uttar Pradesh. This 60-room center equipped with modern facilities was built for the elderly, but due to lack of approval, it is now being used as a yoga and meditation center for training the youth.
Recalling the journey of about seven years of Sahyog, he feels proud that today it is galloping towards the purpose for which it was established. The Modi Tea stall that was set up on Ashok Road on the occasion of Modi ji’s first historic victory, in which about 30,000 people drank tea, was the result of Manoj ji’s efforts.
Be it a natural disaster or an epidemic, he started reaching out to the needy at a very early age in his life. As soon as Gujarat earthquake is mentioned, Manoj reminds how he went to Gujarat with the help of friends and did many works. Bought land in Ekta Nagar, Rapar and laid the foundation of a 26 yard single storey house for the victims of the earthquake that occurred on January 26 and gave the earthquake affected people a chance to hide their heads. He got the entire funds for this project worth crores of rupees from Delhi itself. And four organizations helped him greatly in this.
When an epidemic like Corona forced people to migrate, Manoj ji did not delay in distributing ration, food and relief material on behalf of his cooperation organization and never took credit for it. For this purpose, he neither got his photo published in any social media post nor in any TV or newspaper news. His organization started distributing food among 400 people affected by Corona and through this, he continued to do the noble work of satisfying the hunger of about 1200 people. In this work, ‘Sahayog Delhi’ also got great help from the people of Bikaner, due to which their dream could come true.
When the Ministry of AYUSH declared Arsenic Album 30 helpful in the fight against Corona, more than 6500 doses of it were distributed by Sahyog Delhi organization. Later, on the request of Delhi Central DCP, 2000 vials were also delivered to his office which were distributed among the police force of Central District.
Manoj ji, who has been continuously fighting for the needs of every section of the society, has long played a big role in clearing the Yamuna backwater from Raj Ghat to Vijay Ghat. Due to the inspiration he received from his family elders for social work, he remained continuously associated with many small and big works. Rahgir’s historic event also tells the story of his social concern in which around 25,000 people participated.
He is always wholeheartedly engaged in activities like protesting against the problem of sealing, arranging marriages of young men and women, facilitating scholarships for students, organizing sports competitions. When the route to the metro station near Delhi Gate was given towards Ambedkar Stadium, he also raised his voice regarding this. The result of this is that in the new phase, a provision has been made to open the route to the metro station at the other end.
Manoj ji made many efforts to arrange urinals for women in the local markets and how to make it successful, but due to the lack of proper understanding of the concerned officials, offices and institutions, no better result was achieved despite his efforts. Could get out. Social work on a continuous and large scale may seem a challenge for many but Manoj ji remains enthusiastic in such works because he gets energy from such works which keeps him young.
Talking about his dreams for the future, he says that if the coming generations know me as a social servant and worker, then I will consider it as my biggest success. This servant dedicated to the society will get many more opportunities and he is determined that he will not make any mistake in completing those tasks also.
